2. Which third-party exchange deposits are currently accepted by Hashkey OTC?
Currently, HashKey OTC does not impose specific restrictions on the list of third-party exchanges for fund sources. However, you need to submit the materials according to the following FAQ and have them approved by the operations team before the funds can be credited.
3. What documents need to be submitted to complete address Verification when the funding source is a third-party exchange?
1) Proof of information of the third-party exchange account owner. The screenshot must contain the following information:
a. Take a screenshot to see that your KYC name on the third-party exchange is consistent with the name you registered on HashKey;
b. The screenshot must contain the logo of the third-party exchange, and the logo must correspond to the third-party exchange you selected on the front end;
2) Proof of transaction initiating the transfer, the screenshot must contain the following information:
a. The hash value of the transfer order;
b. The transfer time of the transfer order;
c. The transfer currency and quantity of the transfer order;
4. The Wallet has shown that the withdrawal was successful, but my account has never been credited. What should I do?
Before the virtual assets you deposit are officially credited into your Hashkey OTC account, they need to go through three steps: source address wallet withdrawal -> block confirmation -> address verification. Therefore, if the assets do not arrive when depositing, there are usually the following reasons:
1) Incorrect deposit information
When depositing, please be sure to carefully check the currency, address, network and other deposit information according to the requirements on the page. Any errors may result in permanent and irretrievable loss of your assets.
2) The deposit amount is less than the Hashkey OTC regulations
Hashkey OTC has a minimum deposit amount requirement for the deposit of all listed assets. If the amount of your deposit is less than the minimum amount specified by Hashkey OTC, the deposit will not be credited and cannot be refunded.
3) The source address wallet has been debited, but the number of block confirmations does not meet the requirements of Hashkey OTC
If the deposit information you selected/entered is accurate and the withdrawal status on the platform has shown "Completed" or "Successful", you need to wait for the block confirmation number of the corresponding assets to reach the number of confirmations specified by Hashkey OTC. Then you can perform address verification.
Block congestion often occurs on the blockchain due to excessive transfers, which is an unpredictable situation that affects the transfer timeliness. If you encounter such a situation, please wait patiently for the complete confirmation of the block number.
4) The source address wallet has been debited, and the number of block confirmations has reached the Hashkey OTC requirements, but the address has not yet been certified.
When you deposit by using a source address that has not been certified by Hashkey OTC, the deposit will automatically trigger the address certification requirements after reaching the required number of block confirmations by Hashkey OTC. Only after successful verification can your deposit be credited to your account.
5)Other reasons
If your deposit assets have not arrived and the above reasons and scenarios have been eliminated, you can contact our customer service staff and provide deposit-related information (including the assets type, quantity, time and hash key of the transfer transaction etc.) so that our customer service staff can assist you in processing.
5. How do I deposit funds from my personal wallet to Hashkey OTC?
5.1 After logging into your Hashkey OTC account, select [Digital Currency Deposit] from the [Deposit] menu.
5.2 After selecting the [Deposit] page, select the virtual assets you want to deposit and the corresponding network and the address source [Personal Wallet].
5.3 If you select"New Address Deposit" as the deposit source address, you need to add your personal wallet address in Deposit Whitelist through "Specified Amount Deposit",
Step 1: Fill in the deposit amount and click "Confirm";
Notice:
- The "Deposit amount" should be greater than or equal to the "Minimum Deposit Amount".
- The "Deposit Amount" is the amount you want to deposit. Once you input the "Deposit Amount", the system will generate the "Specified Deposit Amount", which is the one that you need to deposit - the "Specified Deposit Amount". Therefore, please do not deposit the "Deposit Amount", otherwise your address cannot be whitelisted.
- The "Specified Deposit Amount" is only applicable to the "Small Deposit Verification" whitelisting address.
- The "Minimum Deposit Amount" for each virtual asset will be different based on the different blockchain, and the "minimum deposit amount" will be dynamically adjusted based on the situation on the blockchain.
- The figures of "Deposit Amount" and "Minimum Deposit Amount" in the screenshots are for reference only.
Step 2: The system will automatically calculate a specific verification amount, and you need to confirm the deposit amount on the Pop-up page and click "Confirm";
Step 3: Click [Copy] or scan the QR code with your personal wallet App on the page to obtain the deposit target address for subsequent deposit and transfer operations . Please note that the deposit amount must be strictly in accordance with the "Specified Deposit Amount" on the interface;
5.4 If the deposit method selects "Whitelist Address Deposit", that is, your deposit source address is already in the deposit whitelist, click [Copy] or scan the QR code on the page to obtain the deposit target address for subsequent deposit transfer operations. Note that the deposit amount ≥ the minimum deposit amount.
5.5 After the deposit transfer operation is completed, your deposit record will be displayed in the [Recent deposit Records] section at the bottom of the deposit page, or you can click [View All] to go to [Custody Account] → [Account Records] to view it.
5.6 The above steps are the regular deposit process of "small payment authentication" for personal wallets.
If you directly use non-whitelist address on how to complete the Deposit via MetaMask and do not use the "small payment verification" deposit process, your personal wallet deposit will not be automatically credited and will be in the "pending address verification" state. You can go to [Custody Account]→[Account Record] to view and verify the deposit.
6. What is the personal wallet address deposit whitelist?
The deposit whitelist is a list used by Hashkey OTC to manage deposit source addresses. The personal wallet address deposit whitelist refers to the type of whitelist that initiates deposit from a personal wallet address (such as Metamask, MyEtherWallet (MEW), Electrum, Ledger Cold Wallet, Trezor Cold Wallet, etc.) and completesd ownership verification according to platform requirements. When you use your personal wallet address to deposit and the verification is successful, the address will be automatically added to the deposit whitelist. Subsequent deposits initiated through addresses in the deposit whitelist will be automatically credited to your account. You can also add your personal wallet address to the deposit whitelist in advance to speed up the deposit of cryptocurrency when depositing in the future.
7. After the wallet address whitelist has been authenticated, does it still need to be authenticated when depositing?
If you use the deposit whitelist address to initiate deposit again, you do not need to authenticate again.
